About the Role
As Member Technical Staff (MTS) of the core tech team, you will work on meaningful problems, develop products for cloud-scale, provide highly performant interfaces to large data sets, tackle exciting opportunities, and implement resilient systems.
We are building the platform of the future, and most of your work will be on new code using some of the most current frameworks and libraries. You will get to work on cutting edge technologies and expand your skills in the blockchain and NFT space. This is a senior technical position and requires current hands-on experience in the design and development of an enterprise-grade product/services/features, of moderate to high complexity, with full responsibility for delivering software with high quality.
Requirements
As a member of the core tech team, you will lead the development of the platform prototype, new features and work closely with the technology leaders and specialists across the product teams in our organization.
● Design & develop highly efficient code ensuring scalability, performance, security and quality
● Drive and own the “Dev Owns Quality” mindset.
● Participate in design and code reviews. Ensure high coverage with test automation.
● Help improve and maintain the availability of the platform services deployed in production
● Work collaboratively with the technology leader, and other MTS to meet delivery timelines
● Work with Product Management to discuss requirements, help identify key value propositions, identify solutions
● Work in an Agile development environment while continuously evaluating and improve engineering processes.
● Upskill oneself on emerging technologies and consistently experiment to upgrade oneself as well as the team
Required Skills & Experience
● BTech/MTech Degree or equivalent in Computer Science.
● 2-3+ years of experience in developing distributed, scalable, and high-performance applications.
● Expertise in Java/nodejs/golang, REST APIs , Database design, PostGres/MySQL
● Strong experience to develop and debug multi-threaded and asynchronous code.
● Good understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies.
● Strong knowledge of common algorithms and data structures
● Familiarity with basic cryptography
● Prior experience with Web3.js libraries and blockchains is desirable
● Familiarity with P2P networks
● Strong knowledge of concurrency and writing efficient and safe multithreaded code
● Systematic problem-solving approach coupled with a strong sense of ownership and drive.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred Skills
● Exposure to microservices architecture, Docker and Kubernetes is a strong plus.
● Some experience in frontend technologies - React/Vuejs/Angular is a plus.
● Understanding of creating scalable and responsive front end is desirable.
